EVENT: 2009 BARBEQUE AND FIESTA AT THE LBJ RANCH ON THE PEDERNALES [Editor's Note: This page refers to a prior year event. To see details for current year events, please go to the Activities page. Thanks] Saturday, May 2, 2009, 5:00-9:00 p.m. This is a FAMILY event and all ages are welcomed. 
You are cordially invited to the re-creation of the BBQ and Mexican Fiesta that was hosted by President Lyndon B. Johnson and Lady Bird on November 12, 1964. The event honored the strong relationship between Mexico and the United States. Experience the same scenes that guests to the LBJ Ranch did that day on the banks of the Pedernales River. Visit with Mexican and U.S. dignitaries, friends and family, and enjoy the music of the Bret Graham Band, Mariachis, dancing and delicious food. This is a fundraising event sponsored by the Friends of Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park. Net proceeds are directed solely to the benefit of the park. Ticket prices per plate: $25 children 12 years-of-age and younger $40 Friends of LBJ NHP Members and NPS Employees $50 Regular $500 Stage-front table for 8 guests (only four (4) tables are available) Pre-registration is required. The DEADLINE for reservations is Thursday, April 30, 2009.
