ADDRESS: See above. MAP: Click here for a Yahoo map: Map and see below for additional maps. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: From: San Antonio, proceed North on 281 through Blanco to Johnson City. At the main intersection of 281 and 290 (traffic light), turn Left on Hwy 290 (Main Street) toward Fredericksburg. Proceed 1 mile to the traffic light at Nugent Street. Turn left on Nugent and proceed two blocks, then turn left on Lady Bird Lane. From: Austin, proceed West on 290 through Dripping Springs to Johnson City. At the main intersection of 281 and 290 (traffic light), turn Left on Hwy 290 (Main Street) toward Fredericksburg. Proceed 1 mile to the traffic light at Nugent Street. Turn left on Nugent and proceed two blocks, then turn left on Lady Bird Lane. From: Burnet and Marble Falls, proceed South on 281 through Round Mountain to Johnson City. At the main intersection of 281 and 290 (traffic light), turn Right on Hwy 290 (Main Street) toward Fredericksburg. Proceed 1 mile to the traffic light at Nugent Street. Turn left on Nugent and proceed two blocks, then turn left on Lady Bird Lane. From: Fredericksburg, proceed through Stonewall and Hye on US 290, and on into the city limits of Johnson City (changes name to Main Street). Turn Right at the first traffic light onto Nugent Street. Turn right on Nugent and proceed two blocks, then turn left on Lady Bird Lane. From any of the above: Once at the intersection of Nugent and traffic light on 290 (Main Street), turn South on Nugent away from the Courthouse. The National Park Service LBJ Visitor Center is 2 blocks south and on your left. There is parking on both sides of the Center. Note: another Visitor Center, for the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce, is at the intersection of 290 and Nugent. While you are
in this area, consider stopping at the Johnson City Chamber Visitor
Center in the Withers-Spaulding Building
